  1. I think that although teachers are savvy with basic technology, they do not use new technologies because, simply put, people often get stuck in their ways. They may see it as a hassle if their students are excelling just fine in the classroom without new tech.

  2. I think that confidence in technology will come with better understanding. Teachers do not want to use something that they are not completely familiar with because this could lead to unwanted results. Once we become better informed about the programs that could facilitate our teaching and feel like we have complete understanding, more teachers will hopefully use it.

  3. In my opinion, I believe teachers lack confidence in technology because a lot of times they learned without the use of technology. It is such a new concept that it can be scary at times but they have positive beliefs about it because they have seen the way that it could change the way we teach our students. There are so many different resources out there that could make teaching that much more effective.
